Conceria Lo Stivale S.R.L. is a small Tuscan leather tannery producing some of the finest leather available.
Lo Stivale is a proud member of the the Consorzio Vera Pella Italiana. Founded in 1958 by Duilio Caponi (Faloppa), the business has been passed down from greneration to generation. Using traditional methods, in accordance with the ancient Tuscan tradition, the hides are entirely vegetable tanned. Additionally to show their dedication to environmentally sound practices, Lo Stivale has been awarded the ISO14001 certificate.
Their Dakota shoulders are full aniline leather, pure vegetable tanned, through dyed with a smooth slightly polished appearance. Due to the gentle tannage, these full grain hides are bursting with all the natural characteristics. The sumptuous smell and colour is unparalleled. These hides will quickly develop a beautiful patina. An extremely versatile leather suitable for all small leather goods and bags.
